RENEGADE
There exists no greater confinement than the acceptance and adherence to one's perceived sense of self. Each of us has meticulously constructed a portrayal of who we believe ourselves to be, as well as who we believe ourselves not to be.
Yet, this very identity we hold onto so tightly is merely a compilation of decisions we have habitually made, to the extent that we have forgotten they were choices at all. It is imperative that we regularly challenge ourselves to recognize the arbitrary nature of our self-imposed limitations.
By daring to engage in activities we have deemed as incompatible with our supposed identity, or as too challenging for our perceived capabilities, we present undeniable proof that we are capable of surpassing our own narrow confines.
Through consistent acts of defiance against our self-imposed constraints, we begin to unravel the illusion of a fixed and unchangeable self. We come to comprehend that there is no inherent essence to our being, but rather a continuous process of choosing and becoming.
