Envision a scenario akin to assuming an engagement with a video game: a pastime that is undeniably pleasurable, yet one that does not warrant an exclusive commitment interminably. 

Simultaneously, there exists an aversion to an external entity abruptly terminating this virtual engagement while one is deeply immersed within its realms. 

The inherent delight derived from partaking in the game in its intended form may be contingent upon one's volitional involvement. 

However, consider a scenario where an external arbitrator imposes an arbitrary set of regulations, effectively commandeering the gameplay experience. Under such prescribed conditions, the game is destined to lose its charm and allure.

Such analogies vividly mirror the overarching narrative of their lives. 

The pervasive trepidation of an untimely demise prompts a yearning to dictate the course of our existence autonomously.

Concurrently, our lives unfold within the constraints delineated by societal constructs and conventions, thereby entwining our narratives with artificial constraints that deviate from the natural order.

I posit that the zenith of immortality is a state wherein the individual achieves emancipation from these artificial shackles, thereby enabling them to lead a life of unadulterated authenticity, embodying the quintessence of humanity, until such a time as the individual, contentedly satiated with their experience, elects to transcend to the next phase of existence.
